This makes HealthPlus Fertility Center the first of its kind in the UAE and the first in the private sector in the Middle East region to earn an international renowned accreditation, assuring the high quality of the HealthPlus IVF laboratory and its compliance with internationally recognized standards and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi, CEO &amp; Managing Director of United Eastern Medical Services (UEMedical) expressed his gratitude in attaining this international accreditation, an evidence of the dedication of all team members and the management to continuously advance the quality standards of the IVF laboratory to world-class levels; making HealthPlus IVF laboratory comparable to top IVF laboratories world-wide.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the IVF Laboratory is a core component of Fertility Centers offering Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and contributes highly to the success rates of the different treatment cycles and live birth rates. This accreditation also emphasizes the need to continuously maintain the international standards and the market leadership position which HealthPlus Fertility Center has achieved during the past six years in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Majd Abu Zant, CEO of HealthPlus Network of Specialty Centers stated, \u201cA large number of specialized tests are performed at HealthPlus Fertility Center, which help treating physicians in setting and executing their treatment plans and programs. In the past, some tests were done abroad, which was time consuming and costly. Now, many of these services are available at HealthPlus. Our team of Embryologists at the Laboratory are highly qualified, and continuously trained and up to date on the latest technologies and research in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) serving our growing numbers of couples in need of different technologies and fertility treatments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cWe established the HealthPlus Fertility Center since 2011, and receiving the international accreditation this year from CAP, is testament of the clinical excellence and embryology expertise that HealthPlus possesses. We offer a wide spectrum of services to infertile couples, women having repeated miscarriage, men and women wishing to preserve their fertility such as those undergoing sterilizing drug therapy for cancer, and fertile patients in need to select embryos for a variety of reasons including the elimination of genetic diseases.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe College of American Pathologists (CAP) is pleased to recognize HealthPlus Fertility Center as being the first IVF Center in the UAE to meet the high standard set by the CAP\u2019s Reproductive Laboratory Accreditation Program,\u201d said CAP President Richard C. Friedberg, MD, PhD, FCAP. \u201cHealthPlus Fertility Center joins some of the leading reproductive laboratories across the globe that participate in the CAP\u2019s accreditation programs and are committed to raising the quality of laboratory services for the benefit of all patients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From his side, Dr. Irfan Aslam, IVF Lab Director at HealthPlus Fertility Center, said that achieving the international accreditation was not an easy process.
