Letter of Intent signed with one of world’s highly acclaimed Healthcare providers from Singapore, to bring Luxe Wellness Center for Women to Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi, UAE: United Eastern Medical (UEMedical), Abu Dhabi’s leading healthcare investment and Development Company, signed a letter of intent with Parkway of Singapore to bring the first premium “one-stop” medical and health screening facility dedicated exclusively for women. The LUXE Wellness Center for Women will be a welcomed addition to the UEMedical’s growing portfolio of premium outpatient centers.
UEMedical plans to improve the mindset of the community in the UAE regarding preventive health. Amidst growing concern over the high burden of chronic and other non-communicable diseases in the Emirate, LUXE Wellness Centre for Women will offer a more robust proposal for health screening and aims to support the Abu Dhabi Health Authority (HAAD) in its population screening and intervention program ‘Weqaya’, which has become mandatory for UAE nationals. The Centre will provide premium high-end specialized diagnostic screening including ultrasounds, mammograms, bone densitometry, stress tests, specialist physicians, alongside an elaborate aesthetics program.
The Luxe concept celebrates a lifestyle, providing a private, comfortable environment where ladies are served exclusively by ladies. Health screening take place at luxurious settings; surrounded by soothing music, an ambient scent, and designer furniture to make the women feel less at a clinical facility and create a sense of ease. UEMedical understands that women in the UAE will appreciate the fine details and care taken in the services that will be provided at the LUXE Wellness Center.

This is the second partnership between UEMedical and Parkway. In 2008, UEMedical and Parkway signed an agreement to manage the Danat Al Emarat Women & Children’s Hospital in Abu Dhabi, in accordance with the highest international standards of patient care and safety. Well on track for completion in 2012, Danat Al Emarat is expected to be a Centre of Excellence for women’s and children’s health for the region.
LUXE Wellness Centre is due for opening in January 2012.
